Cube World Alpha keeps crashing on startup.

Hey so back in 2018 when the Picroma website wasn't changed I downloaded Cube World alpha. It was all working fine but then I stopped playing after 2019 Cube World was released. I wanted to try out Cube World alpha again but every time I open the launcher it brings me to the Cube World menu and crashes after 2 seconds. Is there any fix?

Somebody sent me this link for the cube world alpha. I don't have a good anti virus so I can't scan it for a virus. Can anyone confirm?
