| Community Theories on Wollay's Game Development? Posted: 19 Jul 2020 02:19 AM PDT So, Wollay released many spoilers of features that seemed to be working on his Twitter and Instagram. These didn't seem to be in their experimental phase in the posts, and in fact, they seemed to be properly coded and functioning. Also, the many videos and images are still up on his social medias for people to browse and have NOT been removed by Wollay. My personal theory is that something external from outside the Cube World community caused Wollay to significantly rush the development and release of Cube World. Wollay had admitted many times that he was a perfectionist, and for him to release Cube World in its current state doesn't seem like him at all. In regards to that, I still wonder why he decided to release the game in such a clearly rushed state. Even with external pressures, he could've given us the game we were shown through his social media. On the other hand, I'm sure there are plenty of ways the community can view this (negative or neutral), so go ahead, fire away. [link] [comments] |
