    My dad had some great insight on what possibly could be going on, and gave me an angle that I hadn't considered till now.

    "It's easy to think rationally when the problem isn't yours to handle" I had thought about this statement a lot over the past day, and I think my pops has a point. "Remember when your friends push you to go talk to someone you like... and you'd do and say the same thing for your friends... But could you do that for yourself?"

    Many of us on this subreddit have never experienced mass backlash over something they've created; I know I haven't. It's hard to think of yourself in Wollays shoes, regardless of how emotionally in touch you are. Yes it makes sense for Wollay to come out and say something at least for now. Yes it makes sense that everyone would be upset about massive changes to a game they loved over 6 years ago. And yes, it makes sense for us to have a little more explanation on what the fuck happened.

    But if you were in Wollay's shoes, how hurt would you be that something you worked on got shit on by everyone? We're talking THOUSANDS of people.

    Of course you could respond by saying "well I would just own up to it".... Well yeah you WOULD definitely do that in the hypothetical sense.... but say "the problem was yours to handle" It was ACTUALLY yours.... You'd have a hard time doing it... just like walking up to that person you wanna ask out. It's easy to say what the right thing to do is.... but to ACTUALLY go through with it is another.

    This is in no way a defense or an excuse for what has happened in this games development cycle... But we need to remember that people are human and accept the fact that Wollay may never come out and tell us whats going on. He may never end up "asking out the community" so to speak. In the mean time we should make our move and strive to mod it and fix it.

    Honestly, I Would Appreciate A Single Tweet

    This game needs a lot of work and Wooley has a lot to answer for with regards to why things were dropped, changes made, and the future of the game. But at this point, I'd appreciate just a single tweet. Just something like "I hear the criticism. I plan on updating the game in the future. Thank you for your enthusiasm about my game." Just anything to be honest. ANY sort of transparency. At this point its not unreasonable to assume he'll disappear for half a decade with no comment

    I felt I needed to make a post about this because every single day in any given reddit thread a common comment I see over and over and over again is that "the game is still in beta so...." and it honestly drives me insane.

    To everyone whose confused, the game is not in beta, Cube World is now a fully released game. That doesn't mean content cannot be added to it, however please don't try to hide it's flaws behind this false idea that it's still an unfinished product. Cube world is a finished product and anything added after it's release is meant to be a bonus.

    Made a new species called a 'ramor'. The lore is that it and the dolphin evolved from a common ancestor. This also replaces the boat in game.
