Posted: 19 Mar 2020 05:05 PM PDT Hi everyone, so I'm sure you get this question a lot, but I was wondering if Cube World is a game worth getting. I originally saw the game when it first released on steam, but I didn't really pay it any heed since even some of my friends who had been following the game actively didn't even end up enjoying it. However, I did recently see that the modding community has come in to try and fix up the game a bit. Is the game worth playing with the mods added? Or is it still a relatively lackluster experience? Thank you! [link] [comments] | ||

What is the extent of nodding for the game? Posted: 19 Mar 2020 11:01 AM PDT I'm mostly curious as to what the mods do or change. In the alpha I remember there being mods, but they were mostly just reskins/ changing models of different creatures or weapons/ gear. I remember one that made all the creatures into pokemon models. Is nodding for the Beta similar? Or are there mods that change combat mechanics or add a skill system for example? Curious as I've been lacking in any good adventure RPG games recently (as I've outplayed many of them) and wanted to see if nodding something like the cube world beta would open doors to this sort of experience.
