| Found a possible solution to the 15+ seconds delay and multiplayer LAG Posted: 18 Oct 2019 10:52 PM PDT More of a workaround really. One of my friends lives in EU while I live far away. Actual ping between us is usually 200 ms in all other games, except for cubeworld as you can imagine. If he tries to join my game, he gets at least 20 seconds of delay and sometimes up to a whole minute. We tried many vpn software, such as hamachi, killping, Express VPN and various other vpn software but none of them seemed to fix the problem although some did help reduce the delay down to 10 seconds, still an outrageous delay nonetheless. This is by no means a sponsored post or anything like that, but the only vpn software that actually fixed the problem where we could play normally was Radmin-VPN. It's similar to hamachi where you create a network and join it, but after trying it, the delay was completely gone and we were able to finally play a normal game since this game's steam release. Steps I did for Radmin-VPN: 1- Disabled my firewall. 2- Installed the software & created a network then asked my friend to join. 3- Made sure I chose "home network" once prompted by windows. 4- Restarted steam. 5- Launched Cube World and invited my friend, worked like a charm for us. | Huge drop in framerates seems to be down to high spawn of Steel Soldiers Posted: 18 Oct 2019 05:46 AM PDT Hi all, was just trying a new area when I ran into a forest which is the location for the blue crafting book, only to find the game judder to a near-halt. The area seemed to have a continual spawn of parachutes, dropping steel soldiers into the area at an increased rate. I could kill them if they stood still, but the lag when moving, especially when knocking one out made the area pretty much unplayable. Eventually it got to the point where their AI broke, leading to some running in a straight line, off into the distance, and others just standing there, not reacting to anything. Not sure what happened to the boss, but there's a chance he is still running somewhere over the map, hoarding his precious book. Thought I would post this to see if anyone else who get massive framerate drops can check to see if there is a nearby parachute drop, or just a massive buildup of mobs in the area. There must have been well over 100 in that one area when the AI started to break...! [link] [comments] | ||

Just like I did they wrote emails to wollay or pixie and never received an answer. Its not a huge loss, given the reviews, but it angers me still. So... How many of us were fucked over?
