    alpha freezing every 10 seconds or so

    hey, so after being utterly disappointed with the steam release, i went back to playing the alpha (torrented), and im experiencing somewhat random freezes that last about 1-2 seconds each, which happen every 10 seconds or so. i've read on an older post that this might be because the game is saving and the changes in the files cause the game to freeze for a bit every time? is there a fix for this?

    Which progression system would you guys like to see the most?

    In my mod, artifacts give combat boosts. I'm trying to figure out how to add further progression to this and have a couple ideas:

    1. You can spend, let's say 10, damage artifacts to unlock a burn ability doing damage over time with each attack. The burn would do, let's say 3% of your damage (rounded up) over 5 ticks. This would make the boost to your damage from artifacts half as good at the start of a new region but twice as good with full 5 star gear.
    2. After reaching, let's say 10, damage artifacts, you unlock the burn ability but without having to spend the artifacts. Similar to an achievement. So all stages of a new region would get easier. For let's say 1% more damage for 10 ticks with every 10 artifacts.

    Numbers are not set, just to illustrate a general idea of how it would work. The idea is just that the first option would decrease the boost given from artifacts at the start of a new region and make it stronger near the end. The second option would be more linear throughout.

    Or if you guys have any other ideas on progression that would be nice too! Always looking for new ideas on ways to add better progression into this game :)
