    We are currently playing cubeworld alpha again with water mage, rouge, 2 rangers and me on a prot tank.was it always that easy to get and hold aggro? my jump aoe dmg easly takes agro from everything it hits and i keep it for the next 30sec-1min without losing it while running away without hitting anything, while everyone else keeps firing at it.i remember always having this huge aggro ping pong problem.

    we play moddet with the 2019 version of client and server mods

    edit:we are currently lvl 14

    Edit2:we have no mods that should change aggro behaviour.found out: Threat generation is based on dmg dealt, mele classes have a higher aggro gen than range classes, Guardians have a buffed aggro gen and having a shield buffs aggro again a bit.

    I had no problems with aggro because: i was using a Big Slow 2hand Weapon +1hand glitched in offhand.the mobs we fought against had high level -> lot of armor/dmg redduction (remember the 1/2 dmg hits on red lvl ogers ect) the warri jump does alot of dmg even to high level mobs 200 upwards at level 10, scales good, allso the weapon is slow but hard hitting, so both types of dmg dont get reduced by armor that much compared to the other classes -> verry high aggro gen from me even more increased becuse of Guardian.

    it would be interesting what scales better in this regard, the incresed dmg from a 2h weapon vs a shield. And if dualwielding shields stacks the bonus or if wielding a 2h + glitched offhand shield still provides the shield aggro bonus. edit 3: could not dualwield 2h+shield
