Hello,

a week ago I decided to crack open this games drop system and discover how can you farm in it. So I've cleared the entire region, got ready and started to farm high tier dungeons and city vendors with every Cube World day.

So... to my surprise every single enemy in this game has a dedicated drop. I mean most of standard enemies wont drop anything at all but some of them will drop the excatly same thing every single time. The same thing goes for bosses ofcourse.

However, the difference shows itslef when the RNG drops come to play. RNG drops are rare on non boss enemies. RNG drop is basicly a drop that is additional item outside of certain enemys loot pool. It happens more often on boss enemies but not that much tho.

With that out of the way we can already see that farming enemies isn't the best way of farming "+ gear". Although, a very interesting thing, "+ gear" can be a part of enemys dedicated loot pool. Yes, that's true. I've tested this on the purple rarity boss and every single day he was dropping me the same "purple +" wand. It can be usefull in multiplayer I assume. Also "+ gear" can also be found in chests, towers, sky islands and so on but those are a singular use only so you can't farm them.

BUT not all hope is gone becouse we have two sources of consistant RNG droops. It came as a shock but shops equipment CHANGES RANDOMLY WITH EVERY DAY AND YOU CAN GET "+ GEAR" FROM THEM! (image 2)

ALSO the leftovers are common way of getting the RNG loot and they can DROP THE "+ GEAR" too! (image 1)

Conclusion: bosses and some enemies will most likely drop the same loot everyday sometimes adding RNG drop to it, so they are not a good source of "+ gear" unless they already have it in they dedicated loot pool. EVERY enemy has a dedicated drop, but usually it's just nothing. VENDORS AND LEFTOVERS are a great source of RNG loot and therefore the best source of "+ gear".

Edit: the best way of getting the leftovers is to farm large groups of enemies in the legendary dungeons. They drop leftovers like crazy there

Edit 2: to reset all enemies, ores, shops etc. you need to sleep in the Inn.
