    Cube World made me the elite of early access buyers

    Shitty title, but hear me out.

    After one third of my life passed, Cube World finally releases and it's more than controversial. I'm saying this while still being on the rather positive side of things. The release has disappointed us all, I'm pretty sure, and the way the two devs disappeared two times with this being finite has left some trust-scars on my back.

    But I have to admit one thing: After this, going through any early access section in any game store and reading negative reviews about bugs waiting for a fix for more than a week or the devs communicating like twice a month, I can't help but laugh. TemTem released (highly praisable developers so far) and the people who cried about Day 1 Server problems? Pathetic, the runt of the litter. They waste their breath crying about their misfortunate situation, sitting in a jacuzzi with a drink while waiting for new updates.

    Listen kid. I waited years, crawling in the damn mud, Couldn't even buy the thing after losing my account access somehow. All I had left was memories and old screenshots to run my fingers over. I am a broken man, you're a nobody, a spoiled kid who has never experienced pain and grief in their whole life, you've never truly waited for anything unless you waited at least 7 years for a game release.

    Cube World has changed me. It ripped a good chunk of human dignity out of me. You might say it broke me, but I say it made me stronger. I say this because it did, easily, when comparing me to those milkdrinkers that refund a game because it crashed twice on them on day 1 of early access.
