I tried playing this game with Geforce NOW, and it helps with blue fog glitch

I just got Geforce Now when it came out of beta and I downloaded the free tier of the application. My PC in general just isn't very good at all, and running this game in 720p with 15% draw distance was playable on my actual hardware. However, I still get the blue fog glitch where the terrain just stops generating and you get a wall of blue fog surrounding you, after playing for a while. It made it annoying as I had to wait for the fog to go away and it can take minutes at a time.

So I tried streaming the game with GFN and it ran perfectly. I no longer have to worry about the frame rate as much, and the blue fog disappeared. Performance was silky smooth, 60 fps. The drawback is that it will be hard to install mods as you need to reinstall the game every session. However, it only takes 30 seconds to a minute for me to reinstall the game itself it every session.

How to play this way?

If you want to try to use it with GFN as well, it may or may not work. It is technically not officially supported as a game on this service, but if you enter "steam" into the search bar of the GFN app it will let you stream the steam launcher. Some games work when trying to install or boot it this way, whereas others do not. Cube World worked well for me.

If you have issues with bad performance or blue fog, I could recommend you trying this. There is a free tier of this app, and it is permanent so cost isn't an issue. It is a service that is currently supported in North America and Europe. Thanks for reading.
