| GameDevs: Possibility to make this game Better ! Posted: 28 Feb 2020 06:20 PM PST I'll be honest , I can't call myself an original cubeworld member as I only really found out about it when the hype started rising again. But when I looked into it back in August and watched the old YouTube vids .. I was hooked. I thought it was such a great concept and had SO much potential to be one of those games people just make experiences they won't ever forget , like how everyone remembers joining their first mine craft servers and building their first houses. But after it released I , along with I guess a majority of the community , were just left stunned and disappointed .. how could a game which was in its alpha show such great promises and it just do a complete 180 on release. I'll be honest , I'm no developer , but as a hobby have done a few projects over the years and have done a great deal of research for development and the processes involved in creating final products during that time. I bring this all up as I , and I guess a lot of the community , wish to see a game do what cubeworld missed the mark in achieving , I wish to create the game that fills the game Cubeworld has left , I wish to develop the game that people will Remember ! I would love to see how much interest this can get , and see whether any fellow developers out there wish to achieve the same and have that passion to do so ! [link] [comments] |
