First playable class full release, Monk class! Posted: 01 Dec 2019 04:03 PM PST By the LichGroup (Nichiren and Lock). Github: https://github.com/LockManipulator/Monk-Class/releases Nexusmods: https://www.nexusmods.com/cubeworld/mods/15/ Official streamer for Lich Group mods: https://www.twitch.tv/pangpangpangg Class info: The monk class is barehanded fighter. You can't equip any weapons but you can equip any armor you find. Your damage starts at a base of 5 and ~6% of your max hp gets added to damage, which feels balanced. Your shift ability lays down a trail of fire, in exchange for mana. You also never lose mana over time, only when using your shift ability! Your ultimate gives you max hp and you can use it while alive AND dead to revive yourself, not as broken as you might think! Installation: Use with Chris's latest mod launcher version https://github.com/ChrisMiuchiz/Cube-World-Mod-Launcher/releases. Just put the LichModsMonkClass.dll into your mods folder. Basically, your Cube World folder should contain "CubeModLoader.fip" and a "Mods" folder. Your "Mods" folder should contain LichModsMonkClass.dll. Known bugs: Crafting tabs are broken right now and you can't really craft. [link] [comments]
Just Wanting to Make Sure I Get How the New Updates Work Posted: 02 Dec 2019 08:29 AM PST Hello all, I bought CubeWorld only a couple of weeks after it came out waaaaaay back in the day and enjoyed it quite a bit, but it was definitely lacking. I was hoping the Steam launch and new updates would fix that but it's changed drastically and I want to make sure I understand everything so I can have the most fun I can with it. I guess all I want is to understand the progression system now more than anything. Are the items you find in a region really just usable in said region, and then no longer have value (weapons), or just go away altogether (boat, flute)? I understand that leveling up is no longer a thing and that artifacts only provide standard use upgrades like stamina or running speed? Besides finding a stronger weapon for that region, is there really a way to progress your attack damage and such? Is the entire goal now to just complete master a region and move on to another region and restart progression from there? If so, it seems almost completely backwards to run into a new region where the enemies are 5 star and that you aren't truly progressing through a region, but moreso trying to find an enemy that isn't going to kick your ass five steps into said region, scouring the whole place until you can built up enough weapons and armor to finally take on some stronger enemies/quests. It seems like the old progression system was more fun, but maybe I'm just misunderstanding these new updates and I'm just playing wrong. Any advice or help on making this playthrough more fun would be awesome. Thank you! [link] [comments]
How fun is the current Cube World with Mods? Posted: 01 Dec 2019 10:52 AM PST Hello, I played the steam release a bit at launch, but quickly lost interest mainly because of the region lock and just how stupid hard it is to get anywhere early game. So, how fun is this game with Mods installed? Is it worth reinstalling so I can mod it up? [link] [comments]
How do I play the new Cube World? I need tips Posted: 01 Dec 2019 12:20 PM PST Hi, so I was just wondering if anyone could help me to get to understand what should I be doing in order to progress in the game. Monsters seems ultra strong so most of the time I got help from NPCs. [link] [comments] |
